The Platform | BlackMountain interface is organised into several key areas that help you navigate and work efficiently.

Primary Sidebar

The icon rail on the left side of the screen gives you quick access to the main sections of the app:
  • Home — Your starting dashboard
  • Intel — News and information feeds
  • Chats — Your conversations with AI models
  • Assistants — Custom AI personas you’ve created
  • Workflows — Automation workflows (coming soon)

Secondary Sidebar

When you select a section from the primary sidebar, a contextual secondary sidebar appears with relevant content. For example:
  • In Intel you see the recent briefings.
  • In Chats, you’ll see your conversation threads organised by folders and labels.
The top header bar contains:
  • Organisation Switcher — Switch between organisations using the dropdown in the top left.
  • Workspace Switcher — Switch between workspaces using the dropdown in the top left.
  • Team Switcher — Switch between Teams using the dropdown in the top left.
  • Search — Press Ctrl+K (or Cmd+K on Mac) to open the global search to quickly find threads, assistants, and more.
  • Profile Menu — Access your profile, settings, and sign-out options from the top right.
  • Feedback — Access our Feedback page from the top right.
  • Documentation — This Documentation can also be accessed from the top right.

Main Content Area

The central area of the screen is where your primary interaction happens — chatting with AI models, managing assistants, or configuring organisation settings.

Theme

BlackMountain supports both light and dark themes. Toggle your preferred theme from the profile menu or settings page.
