# Profiles

> Managing your user profiles in BlackMountain

BlackMountain supports multiple profiles, allowing you to maintain different identities across organisations or contexts.

## Creating a Profile

1. Click your avatar or profile icon in the top-right corner.
2. Select **Manage Profiles**.
3. Click **Create Profile**.
4. Enter your profile details:
   * **Name** -- Your display name
   * **Avatar** -- Upload a profile picture
   * **Bio** -- A short description about yourself
5. Click **Save**.

## Switching Profiles

1. Click your avatar in the top-right corner.
2. Select the profile you want to switch to from the list.
3. Your active profile changes immediately.

## Setting a Default Profile

1. Go to **Manage Profiles**.
2. Click the menu icon next to the profile you want as default.
3. Select **Set as Default**.

Your default profile is used automatically when you sign in.

## Editing a Profile

1. Go to **Manage Profiles**.
2. Click **Edit** on the profile you want to update.
3. Update the name, avatar, or bio.
4. Click **Save**.
